Jonathan Gerard, OD

Dr. Gerard received his undergraduate degree from Union College in Schenectady, NY, graduating with a BA in History with a focus on pre-medical studies. He completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry with high honors in all clinical rotations.

Dr. Gerard approaches treating the eye as part of the overall health of the patient, with special emphasis on the treatment and management of dry eye. Dr. Gerard takes great pride in utilizing the latest in diagnostic and treatment methodologies to treat dry eye. He is well known for improving patients’ symptoms when they haven’t been able to get answers elsewhere. Some of these treatments include punctal plugs, amniotic membranes, eyelid expression, and Intense Pulsed Light therapy (IPL).

When not in the office, Dr. Gerard spends his time with his wife andntwins traveling, hiking, and enjoying life!
